TORQ Energy Gel Rhubarb & Custard provides 29g of carbohydrate and 114 calories in a 45g gel. It uses TORQ's 2:1 maltodextrin to fructose carbohydrate blend and contains five electrolytes, including 49mg sodium.

Rhubarb & Custard has a classic sweet-style flavour and is caffeine-free. Its light, smooth consistency means it can be consumed without taking water at the same time, while the long, narrow packet is easy to carry and handle on the move.

I have been using this flavour for years, my default gel for races and long training sessions. It tastes so good, just like the sweets from my youth! As with all Torq gels, you don't need loads of water to wash them down. Lovely!

Loving the flavour more custard than Rhubarb, bit thinner than other gels which could be good. I need to test them on a proper marathon though!
