TORQ Energy Gel Caramel Latte provides 29g of carbohydrate and 114 calories in a 45g gel. It uses TORQ's 2:1 maltodextrin to fructose carbohydrate blend and contains five electrolytes, including 49mg sodium.

Caramel Latte combines real decaffeinated coffee with a sweet caramel flavour and contains 89mg caffeine from guarana. Its light, smooth consistency means it can be consumed without taking water at the same time, while the long, narrow packet is easy to carry and handle on the move.

89mg caffeine: Cola Caffeine, Banoffee and Forest Fruits.

Although not a massive fan of energy gels, they have their place in long training runs/ultra's and I find Torq gels the most palatable. Their best feature in my opinion is the great range of slightly off-beat flavours that taste fantastic and like they are supposed to. I have not experienced too much of an added kick from this flavour with added Guarana but I have only tried a couple so far. My only gripes are the consistency is a bit thick which can make them hard to consume and the tops don't always rip off well enough to squeeze out the contents. Great service from Ultramarathon Running Store and they have a great range too.
