Although not a massive fan of energy gels, they have their place in long training runs/ultra's and I find Torq gels the most palatable. Their best feature in my opinion is the great range of slightly off-beat flavours that taste fantastic and like they are supposed to. I have not experienced too much of an added kick from this flavour with added Guarana but I have only tried a couple so far. My only gripes are the consistency is a bit thick which can make them hard to consume and the tops don't always rip off well enough to squeeze out the contents. Great service from Ultramarathon Running Store and they have a great range too.
