The UltraFlask 550 Hybrid is softer and more compressible than the structured Human 20 bottle supplied with the Iso Pocket and Iso Versa, but it does not behave like a completely collapsible soft flask. It retains enough shape to make the bottle easier to handle and return to a vest or waist-pack pocket when partly or fully empty.

The adjustable retention system allows the handheld to be secured around the hand so you do not need to maintain a tight grip on the bottle. Set it firmly enough to prevent unwanted movement without unnecessarily tightening it against the hand.

Compared with the 550 Pocket, the 550 Race 2.0 removes the expanding zipped storage compartment and keeps the carrying system simple. Choose the Race if you only need hydration; choose the Pocket if you also want to carry nutrition, keys or another small essential on the hand.
