Quite possibly the smoothest-riding trail running shoe on the market, now in its fifth iteration - the Women's Hoka One One Challenger ATR 5 furthers its reputation for versatility while still offering plush cushioning at an almost impossible light weight. It looks fast and goes fast on road or trails. The Women's Challenger ATR 5 Wide is also available, with a dedicated D wide-width fit.
Fast and light on the trail, its sculpted midsole geometry and early stage meta-rocker ensures a smooth ride on the road. While the distinctive multi-lugged all terrain outsole leaves you in no doubt as to its trail heritage. Arranged closer together towards the heel for a smoother, more consistent ride, the rubber-tipped lugs have a wider spread in the forefoot to help with grip on the trail and in wet conditions. The Challenger ATR 5 also features midfoot overlays for improved supportive fit as well as a supportive heel counter for lateral and medial security.

TECHNOLOGY THE HOKA ONE ONE RULES
Hoka One One has engineered a unique performance midsole geometry that features a higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard running shoes. Along with maximal cushioning, this provides runners of all types with an energizing, stable ride. Hoka One One understood from the beginning that natural foot motion was extremely important for uniformity of stride. Hoka One One running shoes incorporate minimum drop geometry along with a rolling rocker design to promote consistent rhythm in the runner's foot strike.
Meta-Rocker midsole geometry, specifically engineered with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole radius in the heel and toe, encourages a unique natural “rolling” motion. Benefit: Supports a runner natural form, and encourages an efficient, continuous positive rolling motion from heel-strike to toe-off.
Engineered midsole volume which is up to 2.5X the volume of performance-specific cushioning material compared to standard running shoes. ACTIVE FOOT FRAME
Uniquely engineered Active Foot Frame midsole geometry allows the foot to sink into the shoe as opposed to sitting on top of the midsole.
Benefit: Designed to provide integrated stability which is adaptable to a wide range of feet and running styles.
A new midsole material with new characteristics: increased rebound, better durability, and exceptional outsole grip, even on wet surfaces. It provides state-of-the art resilience to breakdown, underfoot stability and durability.

Benefit: Designed for active recovery by supporting a runner’s form and efficient running mechanics.
Lightweight, no sew construction, support frame designed to provide security between the foot and the upper on any terrain.
Step 1: Take a sheet of paper, put it on the floor, one side against a wall.
Step 2: Put your naked foot on the paper, with your heel against the wall and mark with a line the extremity of your foot.
Step 3: You now just need to measure the length from the border to the line you drew.
