The Ultimate Direction Fastpack 15 is a streamlined pack that will get you there and get it done. "Under-promise and over-deliver" - the Fastpack 15 actually holds over 20 liters. Unique to the Fastpack 15 is the InfiKnit construction: the back panel and shoulder straps are made from one piece of custom-made fabric, which eliminates contact with all seams, so there is no chafing or hot spots.
On the vest harness there is easy access to capacity to store water, maps or your phone up front where you need them, not in the back where you can't easily access or find them. Water bottle holster pocket (compatible with the
Body Bottle 500 and Body Bottle 500 Plus), burrito zipped pocket that carries a smartphone securely and 2x zipped stretch mesh pockets. On the rear outside are two giant open-top stretch mesh pockets allowing gear to be quickly stowed and accessed, large enough to even hold a pair of shoes. Or store wet gear where it can dry. One main compartment with roll-top and full length zip allows easy access to all equipment, and expands for big loads or contracts to stabilize small loads. The internal bladder compartment plus hanger doubles as a no-bounce laptop pocket, as well as a large zipped security pocket for devices, keys or other valuables.
