5 of 5 Best ultra racing vest so far December 5, 2016
Reviewer: Tomislav Kapetanovic from Zagreb, Grad Zagreb Croatia
Tried many (Salomon, Nathan, UD).
This one is best so far. Pole holders work as advertised (with Black diamond poles).
Bevare of sizing M fits to larger frame, if in between go smaller.

5 of 5 Great Pack October 3, 2016
Reviewer: MP from London, England United Kingdom
I had previously used the UD SJ 2.0 which was great pack but I needed a bigger pack with poles on the front.
This pack has been used so far for training runs with large ascents, say 30km plus 3000m. Great pack. Lots of storage upfront and room for everything I might need for a day pack. I am using it next weekend for 80km + 4km.

5 of 5 Great Race Vest September 14, 2016
Reviewer: Jonathan Burton from Dereham, Norfolk United Kingdom
Ordered the above vest as looking for new as looking for a change from the Inov8 Pro I've been using. Previous had bladder within the back which when the bag was packed made it heavy on the back. Using the soft flasks on the from with this vest has now given a more balanced feel to a vest during a run. Side pockets are accessible, as are the flasks on the front of the vest. It's a really comfy fit (I had a medium). I've got to point out that I returned the L (my 'normal' size) and found it way too big. Ultimate test for the vest this weekend will be a 100 mile run, but feel confident with initial feel of the vest.

5 of 5 Great for day runs / hikes July 19, 2016
Reviewer: JAMES BRENNAN from WANTAGE, OXFORDSHIRE United Kingdom
Couldn't be happier with this vest. Lightweight and plenty of room for external water so the internal space can be more usefully used.

5 of 5 Highly recommend!! May 3, 2016
Reviewer: Joseph Regan from Crowthorne, Berkshire United Kingdom
Fantastic running vest/backpack, and I have tried many!! Don't guess your size though. Follow the measurement guide. Very comfortable, great materials and plenty of space & compartments. The only negative is the mesh in contact with your back is porous, so if you have a sweaty back you will want to place anything within the main compartment in a light polythene bag if you need this 100% dry. To be fair its a compromise as the mesh provides very good back ventilation. The side zip for main compartment is particularly useful to access items at the bottom of the bag with ease. Purchased for 100 mile run, the furthest I have used if for is 30 miles, but I have every confidence this bag is going to serve me very well for many adventures!

5 of 5 Totally recommend it April 20, 2016
Reviewer: Sebastian Orza from Breaza, Prahova Romania
Honestly, I didn't expect the delivery to be so fast. I thought that ordering from another country will make the process slower but I got the vest within a week. Fantastic. I've used running vest before, but the AK 3.0 is by fat the best one. Way more storage and pockets. Easy acces to everything especially during running. One of the things that I find very useful are the cord buckles for the running poles. And the way they are positioned. Most European races require lots of gear and even poles and that makes the vest perfect. The mesh is breathable and very strechy. I totally recommend the Ulyimate Direction vests and usong this website for purchasing.

Just a short one.

Rapid delivery, free UD bottle and Chia Charge bar.

Could not have been happier, well, unless AK delivered it personally that is.

Cheers

5 of 5 Brilliant Service April 6, 2016
Reviewer: Russell Burton from Brotton, North Yorkshire United Kingdom
The service is excellent.  I'd ordered and AK vest, then changed size, and then changed back afterwards.  The patience and service was brilliant.  I won't shop anywhere else.  Thanks Keith.

5 of 5 An impressive step forward since v2.0 vests April 5, 2016
Reviewer: Stewart from ROMSEY, Hampshire United Kingdom
Really impressed with this vest which has replaced my PB Adventure Vest 2.0 - although different models, the AK V3 vest has about the same storage capacity as the PB V2 but in a much lighter and more flexible format. Practically speaking I see this vest as a replacement for the PB 2.0 vest.

It's light, the front pockets will serve even the most self sufficient runner without having to remove the pack. The flexibility of the storage is amazing and a big step forward. You can drink from the supplied bottles easily whilst they are in the pockets. The softflasks seem to stay put in the pockets without slipping down although I did have one fly out on a fast descent - it's probably worth taking time to make sure they are well secured before heading off.

Size wise, I am a 41" chest and 6'2" tall - the large was way too big and overlapped by about 3 inches. I'd say go for a Size M up to 42-43' chest.

Awesome pack and great service as usual from The Ultramarathon Running Store!
