GU Salted Lime Energy Chews provide 180 calories across 16 small chews, allowing carbohydrate to be eaten in smaller increments than larger energy chews. The packet contains two 8-chew servings, so you can vary how much you eat at a time rather than treating the packet as a single portion.

Salted Lime provides three times the sodium of GU's standard Energy Chews, making sodium level a useful distinction when choosing between flavours. The carbohydrate comes from maltodextrin and fructose, with the BCAAs leucine, valine and isoleucine also included. Salted Lime is caffeine-free. Also available in Orange, Watermelon, Blueberry Pomegranate, Lemonade and caffeinated Strawberry.
