Women's Inov-8 Stormshell V2 Waterproof Jacket

The Inov-8 Stormshell V2 is a lightweight 2.5-layer Pertex Shield waterproof running jacket with fully taped seams and an adjustable hood with a wire-reinforced peak. Its technical waterproof construction meets the type of mandatory jacket requirements specified by many ultra races, although you should always check your event's current kit rules.

At 142g, it provides substantial weather protection while remaining light and compact enough to carry as mandatory race kit when conditions are dry. The Pertex Shield 2.5-layer fabric used in the Stormshell V2 has a 20,000mm HH waterproof rating and 20,000 B-1 breathability rating. Its membrane has dynamic breathability, allowing the rate of moisture vapour transfer to increase as heat and moisture build inside the jacket.

A front popper allows the main zip to be opened for additional ventilation while keeping the jacket together, useful when managing heat and moisture during prolonged running, climbing or other higher-effort sections.
