I'm a fan of James Adams who recommended their shorts with pockets. I was surprised how WARM the trousers felt but the pockets are light and silky. I am a 5 ft 7 inch 64kg female with size 42 (large) feet and found it hard to squeeze them through the legs of the trousers (I forgot they were compression trousers). I found they pulled up easily enough, had a breathable gusset and I found them perfect for my 10 mile suburban run home. I didn't notice they were there. I wore a Camelbak hydration pack (without bladder) which carried phone, credit cards, anorak, tissues, spare buffs, gels and sesame snaps, laundry to take home. Because I wore gloves on half the run not sure how easy it would have been to take things from the pockets. I will try to review again when I've had a run without a back pack. PS: I have the shorts and they feel flimsy, silky and lovely. Really looking forward to trying them when it's warm.
