Compressport Calf Guards : US V2 (Ultra Silicone)

The ankle area of Compressport US V2 calf guards are surrounded, thus cushioned, by 220 soft silicon spikes, which help absorb shocks. This optimises shock-absorption, greatly reduces muscle oscillation, provides increased support to the achilles tendon and limits pain to existing tendon problems. An ergonomic protection tab at knee level, gives maximum support over ultra long distance runs.

The USV2 calf guard boosts your venous return, reducing the accumulation of toxins while increasing oxygenation to the muscles. The reduction in lactic acid build-up coupled with its shock absorbion properties protects you from muscular fatigue and damage. Compressport compression calf guards are meant for all levels and abilities. Train, compete and recover.

With a knee-protection tab and a silicon absorbing fibre, this innovative calf sleeve has no equal as far as shock absorption is concerned.

BENEFITS

- The K-Protect tab does not hinder movement of the knees and causes no discomfort.
- Worn over a weakened or injured knee it protects even further and helps overcome over-fatigue.
- As an anti-fatigue aid, the sleeve helps you resist to effort.
- Lactic acids and toxins are not allowed to build up.
- After running, the USV2 helps fast recovery.
- In the USV2, made a fibre that has a massaging effect, feet are kept light.
- It does not retain water.

FEATURES
Compressport R2 Features & Benefits

The ultra light Compressport fabric is designed for more effective venous return from the feet to the heart, considerably reducing the build up of toxins in the muscles, particularly during prolonged effort. Muscles benefit from improved oxygenation, helping to reduce the possibility of cramps and injuries. This allows for longer, higher impact sessions with less fatigue and quicker recovery. The Compressport fabric also optimises heat exchange and wicks away moisture, helping to regulate your body temperature.

The Compressport fabric provides rigidity and support to muscles and is designed to reduce shock waves and vibrations. This helps to prevent muscle tears, joint pain, contractures, micro-injuries and muscle fatigue.

After exercise the Compressport US V2 continues to accelerate venous return, flushing the toxins from, and increasing oxygenation to, the muscles. This process reduces the possibility of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Damaged muscles repair quicker meaning you can train and compete on fresher legs.

Compressport compression products are manufactured exclusively in Europe, using European yarn, on European equipment, by European medical compression specialists. Compressport guarantees your product for two years and will exchange it for any manufacturing fault or defect during that period.

5 of 5 I was a little sceptical, but I've been won over September 30, 2013
Reviewer: Sean Parry from Maidenhead, Berkshire United Kingdom
I bought these to try them and see what the fuss was. At worst they would be calf shields for when running through bushes and such, but in reality, for whatever reason, they are so much more.

I use them on all of my runs now and after too. I've found that they do reduce the chances of DOMS and I do recover faster. I'm not sure about the science regarding them, nor do I mind. They've certainly worked for me and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others.

Only used these a couple of times so far but very supportive. Make sure you get the right size as they're tight to get on otherwise.
