A great, comfortable rucksack!! February 20, 2026 Reviewer: Debbie King from Edinburgh   I am a female, about 5'8, 34" chest and ordered the S/M size. I used it with weight yesterday, about 6 kg, running home from work. I found it very comfortable, the straps and back had great padding (I was carrying a laptop amongst other items). Superb amount of storage options. Clips across the chest were fine, no issues with them. I bought this to replace my old running rucksack as I have a few multi stage ultras coming up so wanted to get this early to test it out. Would definitely recommend this rucksack. Great pack for higher volume loads August 4, 2024 Reviewer: David Whistance from Isle of Wight   Thought I should give a brief update now that we have used these packs on the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites. We stayed in mountain huts so didn't need to carry camping gear but did have waterproofs/insulating gear as the mountains can get cold and wet even in summer. We were both carrying between 7Kg and 10Kg including water depending on the length of each days walk. The packs were very comfortable and worked really well holding all our stuff easily. The roll top closure worked very well and we had no problems or wear despite the sharp rocks. The front strap mounted water bottles were excellent allowing easy and instant access as well as balancing up the packs a bit. My only (slight) criticism would be that the waist belt is not weight bearing being more for stability but then the pack is not really designed for carrying heavy loads. We are both really pleased with them and are looking forward to using them for many more trips. Was this review helpful to you?

Ultimate Direction Fastpack 40 June 24, 2024 Reviewer: David Whistance from Freshwater, ISLE OF WIGHT United Kingdom   Well designed and made rucksack. The harness system, once properly adjusted, is very comfortable and the pockets on the harness straps are excellent. I wouldn't want to carry a heavy load in it but it's certainly fine with the 10kg or so we need for our next trek, probably more if you pack carefully. Was this review helpful to you?

Fastpack really snug October 11, 2022 Reviewer: Peter Brown from Uxbridge , Middlesex United Kingdom   I went with the largest fastpack for hiking too.  Everything secured well and fit nice and snug during runs.  Lots of options upfront for storage.  Really a shame my mobile didn't fit into the ideal pocket for it, but the pocket didn't go to waste.  Glad for the purchase Was this review helpful to you?
