Postal service screw-up December 10, 2022 Reviewer: Josh Ord-Hume from London, London United Kingdom   Unfortunately, the shoes never arrived. In the past, I have felt confident enough to NOT use the Royal Mail tracking service, but maybe in this new age of strikes and general social dysfunction, doing so has become a must. Great shoe but not as good as the Roclite 270 December 10, 2021 Reviewer: John B from GUERNSEY, Guernsey Channel Islands   I run around 40-50 km a week on rough cliff paths  (rock, leaves, mud and loose stone) and have been using the Inov8 Roclite 270 which are brilliant shoes .  I bought the Trailfly shoes for the extra cushion on the sole and they are more comfortable in that respect but they definitely do not come close on grip.  Two weeks and 100 km in I am still reaching for my old Roclite when it is wet or I am looking to do a faster run.  The Service from Ultramarathonrunningstore was excellent. Excellent trail shoe but not for rough ground June 19, 2021 Reviewer: Jonathan Kempster from Peak District/Staffordshire Moorlands   I treated myself to these shoes having received lots of promotional material from Inov8 and from reading lots of positive reviews.  Beware promotional material! They are very comfortable for running long distances and the grip is excellent so if you are into trail running they are brilliant.  I live in the Staffordshire moorlands though and do lots of running on rough uneven ground.  These shoes are not so good for this type of technical running because of their thick soles.  I have turned my ankles several times using these shoes and though I have sustained no injuries, have decided to limit their use to road running and use on the High Peak/Tissington Trail etc.  For a mountain ultra inov8 shoe, I much prefer the X Talon Ultra 260 which is brilliant and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
