Hoka shoes December 3, 2017 Reviewer: Simon Richards from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs United Kingdom   A much better fit than the last pair - the extra half size over the ATR2 sizing made all the difference. I've run up to 30km on road, trail and mud and, apart from slipping on really deep mud where any shoe would have slipped, I have had a comfortable experience. Comfortable and dependable December 1, 2017 Reviewer: Joseph Swan from Leeds, West Yorkshire United Kingdom   These are the shoes that you want to wear when you feel like plodding out the miles in comfort on any kind of semi-technical terrain. They grip reasonably well and are comfy on both hardpack and more loose / slippy trails. I use them for anything where I am doing 7-20 miles at a steady pace (Z2/Z3 HR zones) and just want something that makes those kind of runs nice and calm and carefree. Great all-round shoes August 14, 2017 Reviewer: Philip from Stockholm, Stockholm Sweden   The Challenger ATR 3 are truly great all-round shoes. Perfect for transitioning from the road to gravel, trail, rock and the like. A bit narrow over the balls of the feet compared to the Clifton 3 and Mafate Speed 2, though I would've not preferred to go up a size as they get more comfortable very quickly. Hoka CHALLENGER ATR 3 Shoes May 31, 2017 Reviewer: Ian Taylor from Belfast, United Kingdom   Bought in April for longer events.  Now tested on a 26 mile trail and last weekend on 62 miles of a longer event.  Seem to be working well with good cushioning and no blisters.
