5 of 5 Feel great February 3, 2014
Reviewer: Graham Smedley from Swindon, Wiltshire United Kingdom
First time I've had a pack with front bottles that don't roll all over the place.  Feels great on although have only done some 10 mile trial runs so far.

So many pockets I may lose things!!

5 of 5 Running pack January 31, 2014
Reviewer: Graeme from Scotland
Great for longer days/events with a slightly bigger kit need or kit list.  Water bottles very stable.  Nice not to have a belt - no pressure on your stomach.  So many pockets you need to be organised to remember where you packed everything.

5 of 5 Fantastic race vest October 1, 2013
Reviewer: Mark Minihane from Telford, Shropshire United Kingdom
This is more than just the big brother to the Krupicka and Jurek vests. It is still very lightweight compared to other vests on the market, has excellent capacity and is very comfortable. I have tested this on a 45 mile run in the Peak District - everything is accessible while on the move, including the hip pockets which don't require you to be double jointed. The pockets on the front are perfect for compass and mobile phone. The bottle pockets fit camelback podium bottles nicely and have stretchy pockets on both sides for gels - you need to stuff a few gels in otherwise they bounce around. There are lots of useful bungee and other straps on the outside of the pack - more than anybody will need. Best of all is the comfort - lots of race vests still have tightening straps on the shoulders which after 40/50 miles start to bug. These have a couple of pull strings which tighten the whole pack, but don't dig into the shoulders. Overall, this is an ace pack.

5 of 5 Ultimate Direction Vest August 13, 2013
Reviewer: Isobel Knox from Innerleithen, Borders United Kingdom
My first run in it was a 40 mile race and the vest did everything I needed. Enough pocket space at the front to keep all my food. Plenty room in the back which am sure I will put to good use when I go further.

5 of 5 Ultimate Direction products May 5, 2013

First of all, thank you for offering products from Ultimate Direction online for European customers. Before finding your webstore, I knew of no way to get their products delivered to Europe.

As for the product itself, based on my first test, which was a 6 hour rogaining race, the vest met all of my expectations. Enough room to get all my stuff in the backpack and the fit was so good I didn't notice the vest most of the time.

A bit of warning regarding the size though, I have a 37 inch chest but bought the smaller size based on other online reviews and it fits me very well, so I expect that the sizing guidelines for UD are a bit misleading (S/M size is for up to 33 inch according to UD).

5 of 5 Great all round eperience. March 1, 2013
Reviewer: Steve Smith from Waurn Ponds, Victoria Australia
My PB Adventure vest does all it is designed to do.  Fits perfectly, no bounce and no rub.  I would recommend it to anyone who cannot stand the 'sloshing' noise of a bladder style hydration pack.
The storage is well placed and allows for items to be accessed without taking pack off such as gels, tablets and of course water bottles.
The pack comes into its own with the main storage compartments having elastic webbing to secure items and stop any movement.  Once you have the pack on the ability to pull the pack against your back then makes it 'part of you' and not sitting on your back.  This 'no bounce' feeling is what has won me over.
It is an expensive pack but its top of the range for a reason.  I can find no faults at all and I would have paid more for it if thats what it took to get my hands on it.
IF your serious about ultrarunning and don't want a bladder on your back then give this a strong consideration.
