Trying socks for ultra running, bought four pairs: - Drymax Lite Trail Running Socks - 1/4 Crew - Drymax Trail Running Socks - 1/4 Crew High - Injinji Performance 2.0 RUN Socks - Lightweight / Mini Crew - Injinji Performance 2.0 TRAIL Running Socks - Micro
I prefer the drymax socks over the Injinji, separate toes does not work for me, I do not blister between my toes normally but had a blister on the top of one toe after running in the injinji socks. The drymax socks are good and very warm. I will keep using them for running in the UK winter but not for the Marathon des Sables. I expect them to be too warm for that. On my last run in just above freezing temperatures my feet were quite warm in the trail running socks, which made them sweat, more than the socks could wick away. Overall good socks.
