Don't worry - you don't have to choose between windproof or waterproof trousers - with the Men's UD ULTRA PANT V2 you get both.

This waterproof-breathable men's ultra running trouser exceeds the breathability and waterproof standards required by the Ultra Tour du Mont Blanch. The UD Ultra Pant V2 has an elasticated waistband with draw-cord, an internal storage pocket, long zipped fully-taped leg openings for easy on/off and stretch fabric. Men's Ultra Jacket V2 jacket also available.

I ordered some Ultimate Direction waterproof overtrousers in size XL. Size XL is indeed what I received, but the Ultramarathon website said they were 35-382 waist and they were not. they were 34-36" waist. because I was setting off on a trek imminently I could do nothing about it .. but what really upsets me is that Ultramarathon consistently *failed* to accept any responsibility or blame for the mis-sale. First of all they said "Well you ordered XL and you got XL," and when I pointed out they had misrepresented the item, they tried to blame the manufacturer. orry guys, you offered 35-38 and delivered 34-36 and left me no way to sort the problem out except over time, and at my own expense. My recommendation is not to buy from this company unless you are absolutely sure you know what you will get. I won't use them again

3 of 5 BE CAREFUL! .. with the sizing August 30, 2019

I'm sure these are fine trousers but do be careful when you order them. The sizing on the website says "large: 35-38"  .. no mention of whether that is waist or leg, but assume leg. Fine, I am 36" waist so large sounds perfect. But when they arrive, I find they although they are marked large, they are now only "34-36" (still no indication what of!) and they are too tight a fit. XL, the label says, is 36-38".
Leg length (for L) is a bare 32"
The waist size discrepancy is disappointing and am going to have to return, with all the extra hassle that entails.

Light weight, compact packing, yet function well as waterproof and wind proof material that is very comfortable on bare skin, with an almost warm feeling. Brilliant.
