5 of 5 Excellent piece of kit and outstanding service January 12, 2015
Reviewer: Richard O'Grady from Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland
I've been searching for a suitable running vest for a few years now and thought my quest was at an end as none seemed to suit my 6' 4" frame and appropriately sited pockets and drink bottles. I have quite a collection, most of which sit in the bottom of my wardrobe collecting dust. So when I ordered this UD Adventure Vest there was a little bit of trepidation that this too might end up in the same wardrobe. But not to be! This is an excellent product, very well thought out and designed. It fits me perfectly and my running needs. Although it says it's waterproof, it might be showerproof but not an issue as I've added a rucksack liner to the main compartment on several hill runs and in some absolutely dire weather including a snow blizzard. It performed very well and I would recommend this vest to any marathon/ultra runner as a great bit of kit. By the way, I would also like to thank UltraMarathon Store for an excellent delivery service.

1 of 5 Ultimate Direction Running Vext PB November 10, 2014
Reviewer: Carl Wickham-Downes from Nr Rochester , Kent United Kingdom
I recently purchased an Ultimate Direction backpack. One of the water bottles has a faulty thread and as a result it continually leaks which is not what I would reasonably expect. Unfortunately this happened yesterday morning as I was preparing my kit for a multi day ultra challenge. To this end I need to have the bottle replaced.

Fantastic service as always. Sadly due to injury have not been able to run with my new pack...just admire it. Looking forward to some long miles with this amazing piece of kit.
Will write a review.

5 of 5 PB Adventure vest 2.0 August 15, 2014
Reviewer: Paul Edwards from Penycae, Wrexham United Kingdom
The PB Adventure vest 2.0 is suprisingly lightweight and has many pockets and compartments to hold everything I need and more. There are many adjustable straps to make the vest an excellent fit and a really comfortable item to wear for long distance running

4 of 5 PB Adventure vest 2.0 July 26, 2014
Reviewer: Merja Tornikoski from Finland
The overall feel is very nice; I've done lots of running with regular backpacks, but this is much more comfortable. I was surprised how little the bottles in the front block or disturb my movement (initially I was cncerned if the design works at all for ladies, but yes the design is very good).

I wasn't sure if I should get the smaller or the larger size and ended up ordering the larger one so that I can use the vest also in winter. It turned out that the larger size is a bit too roomy when I wear a t-shirt only. If there would have been a proper medium size to choose from, that would have been perfect for me.

I love the multitude of various pockets, I use them all the time. They are also large enough for many purposes.

I am not impressed with the water bottles. One of my bottles started leaking at the valve after using it just twice or so :(

I would have given 5 stars, but with the leaky bottle and the not-quite-optimal sizing I only give 4. But it is a great vest anyway!

4 of 5 Ultimate Direction PB ADVENTURE Vest 2.0 July 11, 2014
Reviewer: Peter Lestak from Bratislava, Bratislava Slovakia
Pros: very, very good fit even if fully packed (walking, running, lower or higher mountains)
Cons: there are only two sizes. My chestline is almost identical to the limit of the smaller size. I bought smaller size (expecting better fit). Everything would be ok if the two chest belts/strips/bands would be longer. Mainly the lower one is very short. I will be able to use it only in summer. Putting thicker layers of closing on, the lower belt will not be long enough.

5 of 5 PB Adventure Vest July 4, 2014
Reviewer: jane benson from lincs, ln12ns United Kingdom
Although I've yet to use this I've 2 of the similar vests so know this will be quality. Running and racing with the vests has seen me run more efficiently and place higher. I'm planning on using this vest for T184 and going light! Looks perfect. Great customer care as always with Keith.

5 of 5 UD Peter Bakwin Adventure Vest, Version 2 April 20, 2014
Reviewer: Sean Smith from Kayena, Tasmania Australia
I purchased this pack as my SJ vest, although excellent in design & flogged relentlessly 3 to 4 times a week, just doesn't have the capacity for really long runs.  The PB sits lower as its longer, it feels more like a regular backpack. The bottles on the front are also positioned lower which I like, leaving room for 2 zip pouches on the straps above them. I can also actually reach & utilise the side zip pouches on the waist band on this UD vest. Loads of room for gear. I fit a Medium with the SJ version 1, I took the Med/Large option on this PB version 2 which fits a little roomier but allows for greater loading.
Recommended.
