5 of 5 Commuters running pack August 5, 2013
Reviewer: Charlie from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom
Using it daily to run to work. Good size for lunchbox, waterproof, fresh shirt if necessary. Very pleased with the quality & fit. Not sure about the bladder though - tube is full of air each time. May just be me but I've removed it & using front bottle instead which balances weight of pack.

4 of 5 Good race vest July 25, 2013
Reviewer: Damian the runner from windsor, berkshire United Kingdom
I used for my ultra a couople of weeks ago, it was excellent regarding the support, I was not feeling at all the backpack, but I have to say that the pocket in the front for the water bottle is good but was hitting my chest during the race, and at some I was carryinng the bottle because my ribs near the place of the bottle were painful. the 2 side pockets in the backpack that seems to be for water bottles, are not for water botle, too small, so if you want to go for water bottles I would reccomend SJ vest or something similar. I was keen to buy that one, but was not available in the website at the time, so this one was my second choice, is good, if you like bladers it's excelent choice, but in my case, was second choice and it will stay second choice. GOOD PRODUCT EXCELLENT QUALITY, just try to understand hat you want exactly for a race vest.

5 of 5 Great pack for ultras June 17, 2013
Reviewer: Mark from Lytham, Lancashire United Kingdom
Takes a bit of fiddling to get it right but it's comfortable from the off! No rubbing. Carries the bladder well with good weight distribution. Nice additional pockets/ features that are well thought out. Would definitely recommend. I'll be using it for Lakeland 100 ;)

4 of 5 ok so far June 11, 2013
Reviewer: Adrian from South Yorks United Kingdom
I've only used this for one trail marathon and so far, so good. Comfortable and enough space for waterproofs, camera, water and snacks. I'm not convinced about the metal hooks at the front, they are fiddly and I can imagine the soft plastic loops being the weak link.

Rather expensive!

5 of 5 OMEGA race vest June 8, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Dundee, Tayside United Kingdom
I wasn't sure if I had made the right choice when the pack arrived as it seemed very small but it is actually very well designed storage. The main compartment is big enough to easily pack waterproofs (top and trousers), first aid kit, food, change of socks, gaiters and sleeves. The bladder is in a separate compartment so no need to worry about the space taken up by it! Best of all there are numerous stash points all around this vest for quick access to smaller items (the open front pocket will fit a 600mL bottle). It is very comfortable and lightweight to wear with a close and secure fit. I'm really pleased that the front straps have been positioned low down so that I don't have a chest strap right across my breasts! This lets me get the pack fitted really securely without feeling restricted and uncomfortable.

5 of 5 Amazing backpack vest June 4, 2013
Reviewer: Theodoros Lilos from Rodopoli Serron, Dimos Sintikis Greece
As soon as I received this vest I used it on a 36km trail running race with a 2300m elevation gain and I loved it. Enough space for my waterproof jacket andmy knee guard, smart pockets where I could safely put my mobile phone or energy bars. I agree with another user about the excessive length of the side straps flipping from another side to the other while running, but in general I recommend this vest.

5 of 5 Great backpack! October 12, 2012
Reviewer: Andreas from Bromma, stockholm Sweden
I've been running with the Omega for some time now and it is great.

It sits great on my back and stays put even during running in difficult terrain.

The opening on the pack is a bit on the small side. That's the only negativ thing about the pack.

Otherwise its great!

5 of 5 Finally found the bag for me.... August 6, 2012
Reviewer: Peter Culver from hildenborough, kent United Kingdom
I have spent years struggling with bags that bounced, rubbed, chaffed or were just plain uncomfortable. This is a completely different story. Right amount of capacity, great weight, no movement at all once strapped into place and comfy.

The hydration sack is also a revelation. It opens fully at the top which means it is much easier to fill, empty and dry after use then some other brands I have used in the past.

Purely and simpya great design - exactly fit for purpose.

5 of 5 UltrAspire OMEGA Backpack/Race Vest July 31, 2012
Reviewer: Guy Mawson from Cardiff, Cardiff United Kingdom
As with the SPRY, the fit is excellent although I just couldn't use the bladder without it making the pack unstable. This doesn't really bother me as I now use handhelds and the 2 side pockets fit 500ml bottles in easily and without stability problems. I tried various configurations of strap adjustments but it just wasn't happening for me.

The other slight annoyance was the length of the straps which left spare bits dangling everywhere! I managed to resolve this by double-looping the chest straps back over themselves and threading the side straps through the back and tying the ends together. This worked really well!

I used the pack last weekend during a 6.5 hour run while sweeping Round The Rock in Jersey. Apart from the above points, I can't fault it - really comfortable and holds everything I need in easy reach. I can't see myself going back to the Raidlight, and will definitely use the OMEGA at the North Downs Way 100!
